Calamine breaking and residual scale cleaning into the same Module.

  • Inlet rolls that guide with precision and without abrasions the rod in entrance.
  • Solid tungsten carbide rolls that break the calamine through the alternate bending of the rod. The bending circuit on four bending axis is not adjustable.
  • Wiping devices mounted in succession:

    • - Air knife that removes the scale broken by the rod bending.
    - Patended press operated by a pneumatic cylinder that clench the steel wool around the rod that passes through. The abrasive action is produced by the rod advance into the steel wool.
    - Air blower in exit that removes the residual and dustier particles completing the cleaning process.

  • Box for the scale collecting and removal.
  • Scale conveyor and guide rolls available at exit as options.
